Follow Your Curiosity is a podcast about creativity—how it works, how it shows up in real life, and how people find their way into it.
Each episode is an unscripted, curiosity-driven conversation. We start at the beginning and see where the story, the connections, and the questions take us.
Twice a month, you’ll hear in-depth conversations with people from all kinds of backgrounds about their creative lives: how they got started, what shaped them, and what they’ve discovered along the way. Some guests are widely known, others less so—but all of them offer a window into the many different ways creativity works and what it means to the people living it.
In the alternating weeks, you’ll hear short Creative Pep Talk episodes with ideas, tools, or reflections you can take into your own creative life.

Actor, photographer, and filmmaker Jon Davey has appeared in 50 episodes of Doctor Who since its revival in 2005, as a variety of monsters including Cybermen, Daleks, Ood, and Judoon. He’s also done behind-the-camera work on a variety of projects, including quite a few music videos for Radiohead. He joins me to talk about how he came to those roles, as well as what it’s like to meet fans at a convention when you grew up as a fan yourself, how growing up with learning issues including dyslexia equipped him for an unconventional career, and the value of questioning your assumptions about yourself and what “normal” means to you.
